Following a referral from your GP, our Exercise Physiologist will complete an initial assessment and develop an exercise program tailored to your health needs. - With a GP referral, people with chronic diseases can access Medicare rebates for group services provided by qualified Exercise Physiologists.
- The eligible patient will receive 8 group services in addition to 1 initial consultation.
- You’ll receive exercise advice, behaviour support, nutritional counselling, and group education to help manage your illness.
- Qualifying patients with chronic or terminal conditions can access group services alongside five individual allied health treatments.
- This service is fully bulk billed for DVA clients, with no upfront costs. A gap fee generally applies for Medicare patients.
